Founders

Mazher Ahmad
Co-Founder & President

Mazher Ahmad co-founded CommuniCorp International in 2000. Prior to launching CCI as a full-time venture, Mazher practiced as a management consultant, worked extensively in international business development for service-oriented firms, and assisted CEO's of early stage companies while in venture capital. Through his experiences residing and working in Asia, Eastern & Western Europe and the USA, he has developed a deep commitment to the principle of creating global unity. It is this mission that drives Mazher to make CommuniCorp International a company dedicated to the highest level of service to the international community.

Mazher holds an International Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and Communications from the Annenberg School of the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to traveling to over thirty countries, Mazher's passions include playing golf, oil painting, writing and public speaking. Mazher currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

Ellen Maryam Ahmad
Co-Founder & Chief Speech-Language Pathologist

Maryam was instrumental in co-founding and launching CommuniCorp International. As a professionally trained Speech-Language Pathologist, Maryam has worked with professional executives from Asia, Europe and the Americas on accent improvement and oral communication skills. Her previous clients include executives from CSFB, McKinsey & Company, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, General Electric, IBM, Marakon Associates, as well as with students and graduates from the best universities across the world. In addition to helping international executives and students, Maryam also enjoys and cares deeply for children. She has followed this passion by working extensively in early childhood development programs in the Philadelphia and Chicago areas and within the neo-natal intensive care unit of St Margaret Mercy Hospital in Indiana. Maryam is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a certified instructor for the Compton Pronouncing English as Second Language Program. Maryam holds a Master of Education in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the College of William & Mary. She also loves to travel and play golf, and volunteers her time with local community service organizations. Maryam currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
